What do you hear when you talk to God?

This is a new endeavor for me. Journaling the conversations I have with God.

My personal prayer time has always been more conversational than structured. So, when God recently started putting dialogue in my head, I knew I had to wrestle with the topics, listen for His voice, write down what I believe I am hearing, and do His will.

I had also been asking Him for good way to share the important stuff I hear with others who might be wrestling with the same topics and issues and/or having similar reasons to rejoice. This blog is an attempt to do that. God willing, it will be a successful attempt.

We are called to be in the world but not of the world. (John 17:14–19)

I hear those words and say to myself, “so, how’s that going for you?”

These conversations are my effort to come up with a better answer than that.

If you’re reading along, I hope you hear God speaking to you, too.

When He speaks, listen. When you listen, hear. When you hear, act

Let’s strive together to be the real presence of Christ in our own communities and leave the rest to God.

Thanks for coming on my journey.
